im no mechanic but cop cars have a larger gear ratio in the um ... i think its called a displacement but any way they may not have a lot of acceleration however they can cruise easily at 140 mph while your car cookse itself
it's better to be pissed off then pissed on

there was web page with cop car stats usual interceptors do like 13's in 1/4 mile and here they call off pursuit in public places, just like they did after lady sped off at 100mph they called it off but she hit some restaurant and they got her lol

There is a product like this for motorcycles, from Targa Accessories (http://www.targa-acc.com)called the "Eclipse License Blackout Frame". Motorcycle plates are smaller than car plates though, so this particular product may not work.

Cops aren't retarded.

If they see a charger blow by at 150mph, they're not gonna try to see the license plate. They're gonna say "I see a Purple Charger with white racing stripes driven by some punk heading down Hwy 2 at 152mph. Intercept or lay down the hardware at xxxx"

But to stay on topic, a design like the following could be easily built.

Sit up straight on your chair.
Arms down, elbows bent at 90 degrees so they stick out in front of you.
License plate is between your hands. (You're facing the rear of your car)
Bend arms upwards.

That requires one motor, but would probably need a severe hack to the rear bumper or something.
