Canadian Wheel/Tire Distributors

Post by killerpickle »

Hey guys,

Well the time has come to get myself some new wheels, and rubber. I found a one online store that is located in Canada that sell rims and tires, but maybe some other people can share some sites they have found.

http://www.tiretrends.com (Located in BC)

There HAS to be more, though this one supposedly was the first online, only a few years ago.

Also anyone from the niagara region that can recommend a good wheel shop, would be great.

Sometimes I wish I was in the US...or there was no taxes, brokerage fees, duty etc.. at the border.

You know I had good experience with TireRack.com
Sure you pay shipping and brokerage, if shipped UPS. Yes you will pay GST as well. Duty on the other hand is due only if item not made in US/Canada/Mexico. I bought a set of tires from them and it was still cheaper than buying locally. Cheaper by $300 bux. I feel bad, no support for the small local guy, but you know, that $300 will buy more toys for my car now.

Checked them out too. No Konig flatlines :( Good selection of tires though...
