Slim Visors are back :)

Post by cris_barros »

From Gary:

"Hello All,

I have received emails from all of you in the past few months, expressing your interest in purchasing MX-3 Slim Visors. I'm really sorry for the delay in getting things back together! Streamline Innovations 2 has been going through some transitions the past few months, and we have been on hiatus during that time. But we recently got back together and are anxious to start producing Slim Visors again!

That being said, we are still not up to full production capacity yet, but we're working on it as we speak. It was mainly a time vs cost thing, and it really wasn't worth our time to make Slim Visors in such small quantities. Even when we decided to charge a little bit more and make them on an as-needed-basis, after a while, it was still not worth our time/labour. But have no fear, we've found a new rejeuvenation towards putting out the Slim Visors due to popular demand!

So what I need from you right now, is a show of hands as to how many of you are STILL interested in getting a set (or two! or three!?). Again, I sincerely apologize for such a lengthy delay in getting back to all of you. Some of you have waited since December/2003 to hear back from me :( But now that the ball has started rolling again, we will need to know what kind of numbers we're looking at.

So if you are still interested, all you have to do is reply to this email, and just tell me yay or nay, and then include your full name and mailing address, as well as how many sets of Slim Visors you want to order.

Also, please pass the word onto your friends! Slim Visors are available for the following cars:

- Mazda MX-3
- Acura Integra
- Honda Prelude
- Honda Civic
- Honda Accord

The larger the order, the faster we'll push to complete it!

Once again, thank you all for hanging in there, I hope we're not too late in getting back to you. I hope to hear from you soon! Thanks!

I'm in for a pair. I actually only need the passenger side one, since mine broke off. If I could get that and a spare set, that would be great.

Hi All,

Wow, I didnt intend on posting it so publicly yet, but WOW looks like there's a lot of interest.

Anyways, that's great. The price will be going up just a little bit to reflect the increased Canada Post shipping rates, since the last time we were doing this. (I still have to check with them exactly how much it will be).

We have phased out the Bronze colour, as demand has been lower for it. The feedback we've received is that the opaque Black colour is much better for blocking the sun. However if there is a demand for it, we would have to have a minimum order so that we can make a whole sheet of them and sell them off (but I'd prefer not to go that route!).

Yes, you will have to remove that little tab on your window, but it's really easy. We will include printed instructions on how to do it.

Anyways, anyone who's interested, please email me at mx3style@shaw.ca and we can discuss it privately. Thanks!
