$1000-$1200 with jambs and engine bay,

reds are most expensive and yellow, black is most cheap.

Ohh lol

I was looking at those prices with my jaw dropped, and then relized they are AMerican pricing!!! :D
Yeah that sounds about right up here you can get a cheap job from $600-1000 without body work. But to get a real professional, guarnteed job with complete body work (eliminate rust and dents/dings) you're looking at over $2000 CAD. SO I guess the prices compare now! lol

at a bodyshop here in england i got quoted £1900 for a respray in a nice blue mica/metalic colour. This will be a professional job. And that includes getting rid of all dents dings and repairing my crushed fender. Plus fitting my full bodykit and doing the badboy style rear lights. I thought this was a very reasonable price.

he quoted 2300 if i wanted a 4 tone flip spray

My uncle owns a garage he usually only does exclusive cars and makes limmos, but would do spray mine for £1000 (In Black. This includes rust, chipping, and dent removal.)

However I think Im changing colour so I dont know what he gonna qote me next.

1) Basic colours are usually cheepest
eg Black, Blue, White, Red etc
2) Metalics and perlecent are quite a bit more expensive.
3) two/three tone are one of the most expensive. Due to time scale of spraying and cost of paint.
4) Candy colours tend to be the most expensive at the moment, because of the amount of paint used plus not many places can do it right.

This is a v basic guide. Im not a guru, this is not gospel.

I was quoted $4000 canadian on Candy Blue and that it would take 3 to 3 1/2 weeks. That sound right?

Sorry I should have mentioned not all basic colours are the same price, as Mitmarks pointed out, cheers bud :2thumbsup: . But where you live also has a factor on how much your gonna endup paying. It was just a very rough guide, i just based it on my humble experience.
