white rims

Post by Jteezy »

i'm lookin into getting white rims pretty soon and before i buy i wanna know if they really are a hassle to keep clean and if everything shows up on them really obvious. I have a red paint job so i want the white rims for the clean look, but i need opinions on whether the white is worth it or just get silver rims. I dont want black, everyone and they momma has the carbon fiber look.Peace

Mine are a pain to keep clean. Be aware, the more dips/screw holes, ect. on rims = more work to clean.

Depends on where you are at. Not a whole lot of people have white rims here. I have a set, but opted to buy a new set of gunmetal with the polished lip. The white ones weren't too hard to keep clean actually. You'll have to wash them about once every 2 or so weeks or else they will start to look like crap, lol. But when they are clean, it looks goood. I also used a wax on mine which helped keep them clean. I say get them if that's what you want. But you will have to pay closer attention to them, just like you would with white carpet in a house that you can wear shoes in.

I've got white rims and i actually thought about getting rid of them because they are so hard to keep clean. I want the polished look again!!!!

My white rims are a ***** to keep clean, but I wouldn't trade 'em for the world 'cause I love the look so much. It's basically a once a day thing, cleaning the rims :p

i have white mr7's and ya they get dirty, but what rim doesnt? chrome is worse for keeping clean but looks the best when is clean, the same with white, i say get the whites, they look sick and catch a lot more eyes when clean then the normal silver, i think that look is to stock

Wow, I have some that look like the mr7's but only the backside of the rim gets really dirty unless you clean them once a week. They weren't that hard to keep clean for me. Use wax! :) I don't like my car going over a week without it getting a bath anyways, so it wasn't a problem for me anyways.

yeah, i have white rims, i havent ran them yet cause i dont have my license right now (long story), but i have the Tenzo Shu-4's, 18's, i think they look sik on the mx. im lookin forward to cleaning these bad boys. also, i think that the white makes the car look more professional and agressive...
just my 2 cents...
