Re: pics
Don't take any offense to this, but your car would fit into the ricer catergory. Well that's my opinion anyway. Lose ALL the stickers, hide the wires to your speakers, so they don't stick out like a sore eye, DITCH any APC stuff you have, paint the front and rear bumper, two tone paint jobs died a while back, and get the exhaust angled right. This is what I would tell you if you asked for my opinion.

Re: pics
the two tone looks okay. Im not a fan of visable neon tubes though. They look better hidden.

Re: pics
well the other day i took out the two speakers and slid the box back. i hid all the wires amd the only apc stuff i have are the pedals, togle switch for the neons and a few other things. i'm getting it painted in the summer after i get the engine fixed up nice and perfect. it's get primed in january when i have my week of vacation. i'm loseing the stickers and redoing the dragon on the back window after i get it painted. i hate the tip, the guy who had it before me did that and he f#cked it all up, i'm putting a cat back system on it next summer. i like the place where i put the neons, its hard the find a nice place to put them without being able to see the bulbs.
Re: pics
Dude, that entire car needs a repaint. And why would you even think about driving around with your car primered for months?? I've NEVER understood this. I'd get rid of that dragon thing altogether, it looks like a 5 yr. old drew it.

Re: pics
you guyz know whats missing?? a tight *** black wing! like one of those low aluminum ones.. not too high. sure, i think its riced out, but a wing would actually make it pretty cool! and maybe a front lip or something.. ya

Re: pics
hey man, got a good base going. learn while you can. all customizing doesnt come perfect the first time. make sure when you toss decales on they are level...just looks cleaner.
other than that nothing too outta the ordinary. hopefully things go good for you with ur future projects.

Re: pics
I know that u young kids think that fast and the furious was a cool movie but those cars are complete rice! Hate to burst your bubble but a clean looking car with performance will get u way more respect then a car with stickers, glow lights, altezzas and no performance.Originally posted by flamming skull:

Your car sticks out like a sore thumb and I just want to save you from future embarassment so do it once and do it right.

Re: pics
Be patient with modifying your MX. Wait til the cash is there before you put in mods. Dont mod your car just to do it either, or cuz the fast and furious looks cool, do it cuz YOU want to do it... not just so you can get noticed.
Before that car will EVER get noticed, you need to lose all the decals, all the flames, the dragon, you need to clean up your system, hide your neons, paint your car, lose your altezzas or do something reative with them, and clean up your bay....
Don't worry, you got plenty of time... just dont be a honda-boy

Re: pics
well I might aswell through in my opinion, Aluminum wings are ugly on most cars and hidious on an mx-3 anything found in "Fast and Furious" is just crap. If you want to stand out dont follow. However many people on this forum have money and its easy to make a NICE car when you spend, If your on a budget your work is cut out for you so stick to the used stuff found on the forums.
