clear lenses
ok i did a search on miata lenses here and i came up with i think it was 5 posts. so what year is the miata with the clear lenses that fits with as little modding as possible? thanks in advance. <p> wes

Neither style will require "very little" modding.<p>It's actually lots of work, no matter which style you get.<p>The 1999-2000 style has an H4 reflector and the trun signal bulb.<p>The 2001+ style has a projector, high beam reflector and the turn signal bulb. This style is actually slightly longer.<p>Either way, you're going to have to make new brackets for the rediator, made room for the lights to fit backwards (deep-wise into the car), modify the hood, modify the fenders, modify the bumper, and make a new wiring harness.<p>It can be done in about 3 days, but it's still a lot of work.<p>~A

i think hes talking about the lenses of the side of the car, not hte headlights
