ya i think they really suck, there bodykits are good but they have no respect for anyone,
i emailed them soooo many times about taking my car off there website and i got to response
now my pic is in there ebay ads
so i called them today and told them to take it off right now, and he said he would talk to the website designer the next day
i don't think they'll do anything (@ssholes) so i'm just gotta talk to my aunt (she a lawyer) :D

yup, they do that with everyone's car..they ask no permission to put them online. I know a guy with a red protege who has the pakfeifer kit. the a--holes at onderground took the pictures from MY site that the owner sent me (i was featuring his car).
The a$$holes at onderground didn't reply when me and the owner emailed them about it.

Yeah i just noticed my car on the site now too. Except they photoshoped fog lights into it(the red one). I told oscar he could use a pic just let me know first. But now its a false pic of my car
Now ondergrounds is giving 15% off their kits. I think we should get together and ask for some $ back

I love how the photoshopped fog lights onto every pic of the front bumper

Yeah it pisses me off that the foglights look like **** bein blue.
I just got off the phone with Oscar who actually sold me the bumper, and he says there is no legal action that we can do bein that Eric from onderground took the pics off cardomain and he knows that eric is bein an *** to us. But im not gonna sit here and watermark or copyright every single pic of my car. These companies got to learn more respect

ok you guys have some good points and some bad points, for one Yea they shouldnt be using your pictures without your permission, But if you post your pics on a public site, lets say Cardomain you are actually waving your rights for them to have to ask cause that is a public site. But you can avoid this by simply stating that you do not grant anyone permission to use these photos in anyway.
Now if the pictures are on your own site, then legally you have the right to take action. See this isnt just a major issue with car guys, corporations have these issues all the time, because someone will take a design alter it and call it theres, because it wasnt properly documented.
If you guys are serious about keeping your images of your car on the web and not have to worry about people ripping them and posting on there site, I recommend Deviantart.com, its actually for designers, artists and photographers, but there are tons of import guys that put images up on there.
With Deviantart you can have either a free membership or pay, but either way once you display an image, it's automatically copywritten to you and people have to request to use it by either written permission from you (which they have to post on the site) or they can feel out a form and all you have to do is click a button saying Yes or No. This is probably the cheapest way of protecting your images, It doesnt stop people from Downloading them, but it does give you legal rights to take action if they use with out your permission.

Sorry if my gramar was bad in anyway, im a designer not an english major
but i just thought that could help you guys out a little

The funny thing about this is there attitude towards you all.. I was trying to decide for the last few weeks on which kit to buy for my MX-3. I was going to get the their kit, till I read this.. I am glad I read this post first.. I hope they read this post too..
Lesson 1: Treat you customers like crap, you lose future customers.
Lesson 2: No future customers, no future!!!
Lesson 3: Learn from mistakes, fix them and move on...

Photos were just part of it.. The main reason I said what I said was do to the fact that people in this thread said that they purchased product from them and the products didn't fit right, and another said that there customer service was no good.. To top it off they do not respect people enough to remove a simple photo or just ask. If they can't respect people then they do not deserve my money... Read the whole thread before you flame people please.
Thanks
