removing stickers

i have racing stripes on my car and they are starting to fade making it look like crap i am planning to get it painted but i just got done with the ze swap and iam concentrating on the motor bay right now i would liketo know if anyone has any bright ideas on removing the faded ones i have a hat gun and they just dont want to come off ineed some help :)

theres special wheel u put on drill to remove pinstripes and such. we use it in body shops.
Magnum s/s lines, strut bars, carbon fiber bezel, indiglow gauge, Sony Xplod, inverted c/f hood, SRD lower tie bar '93 GS SE '95 Cobra SVT #2722 '68 Charger R/T 440

what kind of wheel do you use and since i am planning a paint job should i just wait will the body shop charge more to remove them than to just paint it????

They will have to strip it befor they paint um as far as charging more well if they do it shoul'nt be that much because it will be very easy strip.

that wheel is like a big rubber eraser(but round) and as you use it, it starts to fall apart(like a pencile eraser). If you have giant racing srtipes down the centre of you hood, dont use it, its mainly for pin-stripes that run down the side of a car.<p>The wheel costs about $60-$80 canadian, and will get used up after doing the pin-stripes of about 2-3 cars.

i just picked the decals off my car with my finger nail. there is a little adhesive left after you pull it off but it comes of with soapy water. once you get a corner of the sticker off then it comes off really easy
