Where in Queens you at? I live in Queens Village. I'm pretty good with the car too, I did my own KLDE swap not too long ago.

KLDE is the MX-6/ProbeGT engine. Its only 165hp but its good for boosting. My screen name is ImDatNl99a if you wanna talk on aim.

both versoins of the car have the same frame and body... the differences are transmission /engine / wire harness / probably axles... any engine put in the v6 model can be put in the i4 model... it just takes more parts being swapped out....

and cutting and welding. Not a good idea to go from a four cylinder engine to a v6..U can do a b6t or bpt swap much easier and get just as much horsepower. check out the 4cly faq's for more info.

cutting and welding what? are you saying the frame is different from the v6 version to the i4 version? in most cars the car is exactly the same all you have to do is pull everything out of the engine bay and put everything from the higher version back in no custom fabrication... seems like it would cost the car company a lot to make different frames for the same car with a different engine

Welcome. You have a sweet ride there brother. There is a lot that can be done. Interior, exterior and engine. A great place to start looking in www.corksport.com There's going to be a big MX-3 meet being held in NYC sometime next year. Keep an eye out for that.

Run a search, I believe Vaughn's site goes into the bare details. It's not recommended.

Yo, It was my first time driving in the snow too and it was rough, the car kept sliding all over the road. Took me over two hours to drive from downtown BK to Queens. But I made it.
