my car is in the shop being painted right now.
the emblems(f&r)and the hatch keyhole are both being shaved.
i was gonna shave the antenna, but instead im making a billet block-off plate,i figured it then it would be possible to use the stock antenna again if needed.
plus it might look cool with the mx-3 logo milled in it.

I got a quote for $200 for front and back emblems. And includes painting as well.

quote:
Originally posted by Casino:
is it easy to shace the front mazda emblem and the back 2 ? and if so how do u do it ?

I actually just did it today. Used a razor blade from my boxcutter, some "Goo Gone" and some Nail polish remover. I used the razor to loosen one end of each emblem, and then I just pulled them off with my hands. That left a lot of foam/adhesive, so I used goo gone. Nail Polish remover worked better than goo gone, but I'd advise being REALLY careful with it. It seemed to fog up my tail light lense when I got a couple drops on top of it. After scraping, washing as much of the adhesive off as possible, take it to a carwash and squirt it with the hose for a bit. IT helps. It'll all come off within 2 or 3 washes.
I did it on my car, but kept the precidia logo, cause It's a canadian car in america. I figure it'll confuse a couple people.
Good luck
