grrr this one piece!!!

Post by steve_donnelly »

Well i'm probably 75% done with everything i would like to paint in the interior. I chose to paint it the same color as my car, sparkle green (or whatever that color is called). I think it is looking pretty good so far except this Darn piece that is behind the steering wheel. Right infront of the glass for the tach n stuff. Check out the picture:
:D

BTW, its a bad idea to leave your windows down on a hot day right after you paint... Notice the flys on the seat and center console...

so you got the three screws in the top, well guess what, 2 more are hiding from ya. If you have adjustable steering wheel set it to the lowest position. to get at those 2 screws you need to remove the top cover tof the steering column. don't panic, just 1 screw will do the trick. there are four under there but to cut it short it is the one closest to the fuse box (if you are sitting in the seat feeling under the column - left bottom one) once out pop the top part of the cover off, behind two rubber flaps are the 2 hidden screws.
Have fun

Hey are those interior panels common? I've been looking all over for some black ones with grey material. Anyone know of any or wanna trade for black with black material email me at tyco4@yahoo.com.
