Re: 18 inch wheel
the tires are a 215/35 Toyo Proxes FZ4s. With the wheel size and tire combination, I am 0.2% too slow. Essentially when my speedometer is reading 60mph I would be travelling at a speed of 60.1 mph.
If you want to figure out the right combination then check out the
tire calculator at Miata.net.
Cheers,
[ May 20, 2002: Message edited by: precidian ]
Re: 18 inch wheel
I haven't had any problems with speed either since the stock 15's come very close to the overall size of 18's with 35 series tires.
http://mx-3.freeservers.com

Re: 18 inch wheel
Thanks but there are quite a few others that are much better than mine, as always though, I'm in progress.
Re: 18 inch wheel
what body kit you got on it cos 18s might just rub on full lock
Re: 18 inch wheel
I have the Postert front and Pakfeifer sides. I have coil overs though so I'm not sure of the drop.
Re: 18 inch wheel
you could get them on no bother but your car wouldnt handle as good as it would with 17 on
