PAINT JOB PRICE

Quick question for everyone.<P>How much is a paint job... seriously. I've gotten dozens of quotes from different shops and they are all telling me like 5000 to 7000 $ (canadian, so about 3000-4000 US) for a full body (under the hood, inside doors, etc...)<P>I really want to get my car painted once my kit is on it because it seams alot of people have down it but does everyone spend THAT much money on the paint? And how well is the new color gonna stay on the car? I've heard some pretty horible stories about people pretty much seeing the new paint "fly off" the car in chunks down the high way.<P>Thanks for the help.

u better be getting a REALLY GOOD paint job for 5 grand!! WOW i paid 700 but i know the body shop u should be able to find a good paint job for under 2000
