Post by nudesgood »

Hey ya all!
I just put red and green lights on my friends mx-3 and I personally think its a bad idea cuz it looks like we are goin for a christmas theme.. Anyways I was just wondering if anyone out there thinks we should just go for the two colors or just go with one color?
Thanks *Sarah*

What color is your friend's MX-3? And yes, go w/ just one color, no one wants to be a christmas tree all year 'round.

Its a black mx-3 but its goin to be painted lime green. What color of neon lights would look best green or red? Also here we're not aloud to have green light only red, white and amber. So its kind of a waste of money on the green ones Dont you agree?
Thanks
Sara

I would agree if they're illegal. If not then I suggest staying with the same color scheme. also you don't have to have green markers, blinkers, or brake lights to go with the car's color. You have a wide variety of external (tag) and ground effect lighting, you can throw on some washer lights to add somthing to the hood, and internal lighting. Hell, just the other day I witnessed a bubble tube inside the cabin's center rear of an eclipse. :p
[ April 29, 2002: Message edited by: Quazi5 ]

well obviously if you are driving around with EXTERIOR neon lights on.. then yes you will get hassled... if they are inside your car, such as under the dash, then you should be fine

We got a warning because the lights were Green not Red,White, or Amber. If they were those three colors we wouldnt have got the warning.

what???? Ive never heard of that law....I understand those colors on your headights/tailights/turnsignals....but on your body...thats crazy. Damn cops...may they rot in hell. I personally dont like Neon lights on cars but hey...whatever floats youyr boat. oh and go w/ green. Red on a green car would look nasty.

The problem I have really is that in B.C we are not aloud any colors but the three colors (red, white and yellow). So anyone outside of B.C can have which ever color but here we can't. After I bought the green lights I got a warning for having them on my car so there goes a waste of money. Sh*tty law's we have here.
thanks

that sucks that you can't use the green ones. i wouldn't use the red ones. if you think they're s**t colors, then it's best to not have any.

Yeah its kinda BS. Oh well. I'll probably just use the red ones on the outside for now then in the inside use the green ones... that way I dont get fined :)
Thanks
