NEED HELP FAST!

i would appreciate ANY help.<P>i bought some of that string neon from pepboys that has a little box that you have to screw the wiring into....maybe it's a 12volt to a smaller voltage inverter....but it isn't working anymore and i can't figure out why.<P>my question is can i just use the string neon and hook it up to some type of power source such as the dome light or the trunk dome light? and if so, which wires do i hook up to each other?<P>any help is appreciated. i'm going to be entering my mx-3 in a school car show that happens in an auditorium and will be dark, so i would like to show off my neon and i'm practically the only guy at my school with neons. i would like to win this show for all aspiring mx-3 drivers out there.

i think my inverter was fried. will this inverter work with the string neon? <BR> <A HREF="http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bin/c ... type=store" TARGET=_blank>http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bin/c ... e=store</A> <P>this was the only inverter with those wires at each end for the cigarette lighter and the neon string.
