clear side markers on the back.

Post by justin h »

You know how the clear side markers on the back stick out. What has anyone done to make them flush?

Try shaving them down.

I was going to, but heating them up doesn't make them come apart like the front corners. I don't want to just chop into them and then glue them back together, but it looks like that's what I'll probably have to do.

on the lights you are going to at the back, you will have to shave the raised part around the screw hole. It should be nice and flush. Also, take a look into where the light will go... there are little raised pieces that will also have to be shaved off. But what ever you do, don't touch the bottom ones.... otherwise you will have to put a shim at the bottom of the light when you install.....
hope this helps a little.
cheers,

I say, Ahmed. What is that thing you do when you're about to assassinate an infidel?

Thanks, but I tried that and they still stick out pretty far on one of the sides. Does anyone know how to separate the clear part from the base (I tried heating it) without screwing it up? It seems the clear part is just too big so I might just have to cut that. And I can't really figure out a way to move the bracket on the bumper back any.
