me and my friends have been doing some custom taillight work around here and what we do is use paint actually that matches the car exactly and then tape up the shapes we want our taillights to be in its awesome and clean and sexy looking. others use vinyl but its harder to get a color match and it doesnt last as long as the paint. just my 2 cents on this subject...

sexy looking??? LOL nice description... I too would like to see these sexy-looking light covers... sorry.... back on topic... does GTS no longer make the covers? if they do or you can get a set and want to paint them... make sure you paint them from the back.. this'll keep the paint from scratching and looking like crap.<BR>Peace!

Ok, what I did was I went to the local sign shop and picked up 2 pieces of black adhiesive vinyl big enough to fit over the tail lights. Then I stretched the vinyl over the lights as best as I could without getting bubbles or folds. Then I made 5 holes in them, cut with a razor blade. Three of them were the size of a coffee mug and they fit over the far right red part, the middle red and white part and the other red part. Then I put one the size of a wine glass over the orange part, and another one the size of a silver dollar over the orange part. In the end it looked super-sweet, and It only costed $3.00! I get nothing but compliments. Anyone want pics?
