Question About Headlight/Taillight Blackouts

Post by finchuck »

For those of you that have (or had) headlight or taillight covers, the smoked blackout type, do you (or did you) have any problems with the police? I'm assuming they are illegal but I'm just wondering if you've gotten hassled for them.<P>BTW, doesn't the RX-7 have tinted taillights, why is that legal?

It's a safety feature. On the RX-7 the reflectors and reverse lights are on the rear bumper. I'm planning to relocate my reverse lights and reflectors to the bumper and tint my tail lights this summer.
