If the back seat are the same as the 94's they do not zip off, they are held on by hug rings and the same go's for the front but alot trickier.

I have never done any car seat yet that was just held on by zippers. If you look closely you will see that it is held on by small clamped on rings. Just wanted to let you know before you start pulling all the seats out. Unless you have aftermarket covers that slip right over the stock one. Hope that helps

yes that did help mrspanky. thanks. i had a few more questions though...
after removing the seat covers and washing it, how am i supposed to dye it? is it possible for me to remove the cover without actually detatching the seat from the car? when putting it back on, is there a certain way to put those rings on for a tight fit?

I cant help you on the dying my shop has never done it before. And yes you will have to take the front seat out and take it apart. You will have to get new rings and they are not hard to put on, the trick is pulling the covers on, in the right spot and tight. The rings you can find at most upholstery shops an they are called hug ring or C rings.

DONT TRY!! IT WONT WORK
I tried if.. let them sit in dye for a month.. and it still didnt work. The spray dye works.. but it wears off. Also, it makes the cloth stiff.
[ January 18, 2002: Message edited by: Custommx3 ]

ic. thanks for the warning. i'll prolly use a spray dye or bring it to an upholstery shop. how much would it cost for the two front and the rear to be covered in new fabric? how much if i have them put in suede inserts? i'm kinda on a budget until i get another job.
