cigarette lighter

when painting my interior, i came along a little problem. i'm trying to remove my dash panel in the center console, but it's connected to the cigarette lighter and i don't know how to remove the lighter so i can paint my panel. any help here?

The light just CCW turn to remove it and its just a plug that connects the wires to the lighter just pull on the brownish plastic<P>look on the back sde of the lighter should be "taps" that hold the lighter in the panel

thanks whitefish...but i decided to leave that panel black and alter my scheme a little bit. i'll keep this in consideration when i paint my dashboard.
