Hole In Hood

Last night at a newyears party some guys got in a fight and stabbed each other o my car and now i have a knife hole in my hood with a small dent aroud it<BR>what should i do?<BR>can i bondo it myself then pain it was toch up paint till i get enought money to get it done by a pro <BR>any suggerstions??<BR>thanks

maybe you can make the hole a bit bigger and put a air hood scoop ??...depend on where exactly is the hole.<P> :cool:

nope can't it's on the upper driver side but i tought of that too<BR>lol

i hate it when ppl get close to my car when they're fighting... i've jumped into a fight just to get other ppl away. Was this on the news or something bud? (the stabbing)<P>BTW - that'd be hilarious if a guy jumped into a fight because it was near his car :D

Just like Fish said, you should contact the guys who did the damages to your car and have their insurance pay for it. If you kept the receipts about your paint job a few months ago, the insurance company will be even more receptive. To top it off, if you declare that now, the rest of your car won't match the new paint of the hood, you migh even get the insurance pay for the ehole car paint job.<BR>Just to be on the safe side, do you have witnesses that can testify the damages were due to that fight and were not there before or done after ? [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

here's what you can do. put another hole on the other side of the hood so they're parallel to each other, and instead of the weird looking air scoop, put some type of air vents to help cool the engine...it'll look nice too. i've seen it done. i'll try to find a pic of it if i can.
