Re: RAINBOW headlights
When I bought my MX-3 the guy I bought it from had this bulb on the left side that had a little bit of teal light that hit the ground. It was kind of neat, but kind of annoying. What was really dumb about it though was he only had one. Two might have looked cool. Needless to say, I threw it away.

Re: RAINBOW headlights
goto your local auto parts detailing supplier and pick up a couple exenon bulbs that actually state "ultra blue vision" these are the ones that give you the rainbow effect yet when driving, you don't see the rainbow you see an ultra brilliant white light as you are actually behind the bulbs.

uhhhhh, no. "rainbow" bulbs are sold as an individual product. i haven't seen them around for a few years, but i'm sure they're still out there. "hyper-white", etc bulbs make your lights look bluish-white. most of them are crap. buy some PIAA or hella bulbs to get some real performance. i actually have some made by "Hyper industries" that are surprisingly good, however.

Re: RAINBOW headlights
i was actually very disappointed with the PIAA platinum bulbs i got, especially for the price. i bought a pair of eurolite xenon's for 1/4 the price of the PIAA's notice no difference.

quote:
Originally posted by Esper:
uhhhhh, no. Re: RAINBOW headlights
I had some rainbow headlights.. they are called Ion Hyperwhites.
Pilot makes them for 15 bucks each @ Advanced auto parts. I had a set, but 1 blew, were closed so I was forced to goto autozone and buy some plain hyperwhites.
