My friend joe installed them, had to cut under his hood to get them installed. Not something I'd want to do.<P>------------------<BR>Barry Clark<BR><I><B>Moderator</B></I><BR>1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS<BR>Chaste White<BR><A HREF="http://www.barrykclark.com" TARGET=_blank>barrykclark.com</A><BR> barrykclark@hotmail.com

For the FINAL ANSWER to your legal questions, go to the source...the government that makes the darn things. This site will allow you to click on your state and then it will take you to that states website for their laws. I am going to print out a copy of the applicable information and keep it in my car so that if I get stopped, I can show the cop EXACTLY what the law reads! <BR> <A HREF="http://www.mit.edu/~jfc/laws.html" TARGET=_blank>http://www.mit.edu/~jfc/laws.html</A>

Well, we got the washer lights a few days ago and I installed them. There was absolutely NO drilling or cutting involved! I ordered them from Matrix Racing (http://www.matrixracing.com) through E-bay. They look pretty cool! I wired them into a switch that I had already installed (used to be for driving lights). I did this so the cops will not mess with me. We went driving around with them on (at night) and passed a cop. The cop gave us a real nasty look, so I would imagine that he saw them. He was stopped at a gas station on the other side of an intersection, so he did not try to pull us over, but if he had been on the same side of the street as us, who know? Anyways, you will be able to see them at the Drag Wars if you go. I have not taken any pictures of them yet. They do not reflect much off our hood since the car is black. I would imagine that on a white car, they would really light up the hood. At any rate, I like them and they look pretty cool.

To get the old nozzles off took me about 30 seconds. They are only held in my clips (one clip on each side, two per nozzle). I used a pair of flathead screwdrivers and pressed the tabs in and they popped right out.

HAHAHA!!!<BR>That's funny man. I would love to be there when you say that. I might just bring one of the old nozzles with me today (Drag Wars) to show people what they look like.

Where did you connecte your wires to ?<P>I just installed mine, but the wires are still there, trying to figure where to connect them to. Where can I find the closest 12 V source under the hood.<P>Regarding the Law s---, pisses me off when they sell products in a country, and then they tell you it's illegal, It's all a money scheme.

“Where did you connect your wires to?”<P>Mine are connected straight to the battery. I just have to make sure that I turn them off when getting out of the car if needed.<BR>
