Cutting up an RS bumper...
Hey everyone! I know lots of you guys have cut up the stock bumper and put wire mesh from home depot on it. I really want to do this, but see, some idiot did a hit and run on my car a while back, and I just got it back from the shop. I really don't wanna cut up the bumper if I don't have to. Anybody ever put the mesh on the bumper without cutting it? Either behind that horizontal bar or covering it all? I'm really interested in what it would look like, especially with the mesh covering the bar. Thanks! Also, the people at the shop drilled holes in the bumper for the license plate *doh*. Any cheap way to fix that? Like fill the holes? Also, they got me a new hood. Really nice, but the hood has two holes in it. I'm assuming they are for the emblem, but on my old hood, I removed the emblem, which was attached with only adhesive. My old hood didn't have holes in it. Can I fill in those holes too? I have a Mazdaspeed emblem, just in case, but I'd like to keep the car without emblems. Ok, sorry for the long post. Thanks again.
Re: Cutting up an RS bumper...
you can buy some body filler for about five dollars at wal-mart or go to a local automotive store and ask them if they have any.

Thanks! I'll be sure to pick some up when I see my MX-3 this weekend. (I didn't bring my car up to Cal for summer school...) Thanks again!
