Mirror starting to fade out

I have a red mx-3 and the color on the mirror is starting to go. What to do?<P>------------------<BR>Brainless<BR>93 red RS<P>Long live mx-3's

Red's seem to be best at this , I think its mostly because it is a single stage paint, or its base and clear in one application. My friend has a red toyota with faded red paint, its only a 93 also, The best way to keep it up is to get a cleaner wax applied to it to get all the oxidation off then apply some wax. Just takes more cleaning than others, I used rubbing compound and glossed mine up and then applied a finishing polish to it and its lookin good , <P>hope this helps, Chris

you can wax it but remember when the wax wears off its going to be worst.... best way is to wait till you want a whole paint job or re paint only the mirrors it cant be spencive
