I`ve have tried some few combination`s on the klze engine. Every test so far has been with the k8 IM and TB and fuelrails. Next step is the 626 de IM and TB and fuelrails (as i can`t get the curved neck millenia IM here in europe and kl36 ecu). Has someone tried the 2.5 de IM on the klze engine?
K8 Ecu/K8 vaf: Not good
K8 Ecu/2.5 de vaf: good
Currently im runnig the K8 Ecu/2.5 de vaf but at 4500 rpm there not much off a pull. Is this because off the IM,TB and fuelrails?(vris are functioning). Also is it a must when you do the klze swap to adjust the tps, because it´s idle was perfect before the swap on the k8 engine, but now when it´s warm it wont idle?.

Fuel rail or injectors? Fuel rails don't matter. Injectors definitely matter. If you're running K8 injectors, you could possibly wreck your engine from running too lean.

That should fix the lack of go above 4,500.
Let us know how you get on. I will probably have to go that way too (KLDE VAF with K8 ECU) because my '97 model can't take any different ECU.
Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
Extra thick soundproofing in the boot (trunk) to quieten my stainless steel exhaust system
Ok i changed the fuelrails with the injectors to the 2.5 ones and man that did a difference. Idle and everything is perfect now. Pulls really hard now in 1gear wheels spin al the way and in second the spin as well.
Next step will be to try this combo with my kl05 ecu, and after that change to the 2.5 de IM and TB.

I can diffinately recomend this combo cause the car runs great after my oppinion. Runs smooth and steady.
