I just stumbled across this link. Im redoing my CAI again and was in search for some mandrel bent piping. The 180 degree "U" bend one is of interest I think. They even have 3" diameter ones.

Re: Custom CAI parts
I was thinking just buy one with similar twists needed on eBay and if I need a few more degrees of bent, just have a muffler shop crush bend it a little. I don't like the idea of crush bending, but if I get one that has a 80 degree bend, and I end up needing 90 degrees, 10 degrees of crush bending isn't going to be nearly as bad as the whole 90 degrees.
I ordered a 00 Prelude CAI with mushroom filter. The Prelude is what the Probe guys use with the straight neck manifold, so I'm hoping that'll work for me also.

Hell no. If I want to be butt raped, I'll go to a fetish club. I got a 3"-4" silicone reducer for $16 shipped on eBay. $40+shipping? No thanks!Originally posted by killerpickle:

Re: Custom CAI parts
I agree that ebay can be cheaper, as with automotive warehouse, 5 minutes from my house. But ebay is sometimes slow, and more often than not, what you get turns out to be garbage. I can get coloured rubber reducers from automotive warehouse for like 6 dollars, but they are NOT heat resistant silicone.

Re: Custom CAI parts
If we were talking turbo couplers, that's one thing, but the title of this thread says 'CAI'. Super heat handling couplers are not that important, IMO.Originally posted by killerpickle:
