Where would be the best place to do an engine SWAP??
Where would be the best place to do an engine SWAP??
I live in London Ontario.
I was wondering what would be the best place, or the best guy to do a SWAP for my engine, and ecu, and all the goodies??
I seen PRECIDIAN the other day but I totally forgot to ask him!!

in your garage
y dont you just do it yourself? It'd be a lot more fun, and gratifying when it is done. ![2 Thumbs Up :2thumbsup:](./images/smilies/2thumbsup.gif)

I'm doing mine myself also. I'm lucky enough to have TWO Mx-3's, so I take my time on my GS while I earn the cash with my RS. Do it yourself if you can; you just get that "connection" with your car that you can't get when someone else is workin it.
'93 GS sporting 31 ZE, 36 ECU, Millenia IM & TB, Beefed up tranny, Fidanza FW, CM Stage II-R, Al UDP, HS Headers, MF Hi-Flow CAT, 2.5" Piping, CAI, MGC Wires, MS Mounts, B&M SS, Bronzoils, SS B & C Lines, Brembos...more.
Oh yeah, I have a stock ATX 92 RS too.

I totally appreciate the replies, but with mechanical knowledge that I have I don't think that would be a good idea (to do it myself), plus the tools.
thank you!

Re: Where would be the best place to do an engine SWAP??
hey, what exactly do u need for tools? i wanted to do the engine swap. i have a garage at my disposile. and the car wont need to be doing it. if i fallow the user manual it isn't to hard right? (simple fallowing instuctions).
other then a garage and engine hoist (i have both). what tools will i need to get the job done?
*note* i have worked on cars a bit before... but never something as big as an engine swap....
