I just had the same problem. It came on quickly and was more severe, but it had the same characteristics.. It was the disty indeed.

Do youself a favor and do the work yourself.. just have to remove 2 aluminum (17mm?) bolt behind the cap, replace the disty, and switch the cap/rotor over..

tryed something today, when the engine stalled I stopped the ignition for 10sec, and the car started right after, didnt need to crank it for 1 min....

I think that I sould go that way

Tried the car on the highway, in 5th at 5500rpm (forgot that there was a speed limit ;) ) the rpm jerk like a crazy, you see it move from 5000 to 5500rpm maybe 10 times and it stall right after.

Seems a good idea, but the Probetalk post gives the cable colours for MX-6; the MX-3 colours are:

ECU drive signal to G - Orange

Power +ve to B - Blue

Signal to Diag connector from C (the so-called IG- line)- Red

Drive signal to tacho through 1kOhm resistor from C - Yellow/Blue - The post says "do not use this wire" - it should say "leave this wire untouched, because the resistor is built into the distributor between the primary coil and the wire, and we need to keep it"

The pic shows that the strap to cut links to the center terminal of the 3 pin - I think that is correct for your '95 model. I'm not certain of this, but I think it will be to one of the others in earlier cars, as they are wired differently. But the cable colours are the same for '93 to '95.
Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
Extra thick soundproofing in the boot (trunk) to quieten my stainless steel exhaust system :)

I think that I'll give it a shot since I play/study in electronics....
