gas ****

Post by quandra »

I don't know what to do. I just replaced the engine in my car with a '95 1.8L and it eats gas like crazy. The engine only has 105,000 kms on it and my old engine had over 300,000 kms. The old engine was great on gas. Any ideas?

I've read that o2 sensors can have a big impact on your gas mileage just something to think about...

I asked the exact same question, but the mechanic said as long as they use the '92 wiring harness and exhaust manifold, it would be fine. As for my o2 sensors, they are only 1 year old. I'm still a little worried about the engine because my check engine light comes on all the time.
