Ok, guys
I need your help now to figure out whats going wrong.
I did the Swap and it is ok,
I did not swap the EGR over.
My hareness is ok, i noticed on my old K8 block there were two Temp-Sensors, on the Kl-ZE i have there is only one. My ZE is out of a Eunos 800 and came with AT and a KL62 ECU.
right now i´m using my K819 ECU with the KL-ZE i runs strong but very rich, as i expected.
I know i need to use the KL36 ECU for the right timing curves and the right fuel map and the JE-50.
I was reading Dave Colemans site and i found the Rom-Images of the 92 Telstar and the 94 MX-6. As far as i know the 94 Mx-6 Image is a Image of the KL36 ECU.
I burned that Image on a Eprom desolderd my spare ECU, and inserted the new one. ---> I switched the ECU--> following Problems
idle is going up and down between 500 and 1000 RPM and VRIS 2 isn´t opening,
lso the ECU is in limp mode (cut off @ 6500 RPM).
I also tried the 92er Telstar Image, same problem!!
Did i miss something ? Because as far as i know the K819 ECU is the same one as the KL36 internally.
Should i try to use a KL55 ECU with the 94 MX-6 Image ?
Any thoughts ??

I have been unable to have any car run on that 94 Jpec MX-6 bin file. Tried in a K8 ECU and KL07 with no luck.

Where did you find the rom files?
I'm looking for the rom file of the 95 mx-3
Also, can you find chiped rom files for the kl-ze on the internet somewere?
Please let me know.
Btw there is a difference in the rom files from k8 from 91 to 94 and 94 to 98
Already tried both rom files?
I have the 92 for you if you want to try.
thanks,
Dennis

Here are the Rom-FilesRom-Images
one is out of a 92 Ford-Telstar
the second one is out of a 94 MX-6 (KL-36)
Both did not work in a 92 K8 ECU !!!

Put the KL62 ECU ! (IF the ecu controlls the engine only) i guess that the KL62 is controlling the engine only. Try it !

That idea has already been considered, looks like a non-runner - see this thread:

Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
