Hi! I´ve read a lot of times that the K series tranny blows easily past 300 hp or when abused. Does anybody really knows why or where? I turbocharged my K8 and have a Kl sailing to my house waiting the turbo to be transplanted, so I am starting to worry about that.

There is a place in the tranny where a bearing mounts that is weak. The case cracks, the bearing moves and the tranny blows. Some where on probetalk there is a thread with pictures that shows all the gory details. I'm to lazy to look it up right now.
