Eunos 800 Engine + KL 62 ECU ??

Hi guys<p>I´m can manage to get a Eunos 800 Engine it has attached ATX and tranny and a KL-ZE ECU?<p>The Problem is i don´t recognie the KL 62 ECU ?
Is this the ATX - ECU ?<p>Is it possible to use this ECU ? i don´t think so, right? cause it would demand a ATX on my Manuál MX-3 and if its a JDM ECU it would be limited to 180 km/h ??<p>It also would need a Mass Airflow Sensor ? and the MX-3 uses a Volume Airflow Sensor, right ?<p>Can somebody verify this ??<p>greetings tocixxx

That ecu will not work unless you can also get the wiring harness off of the Eunos 800. If you snag that harness then you should be able to use the kl62 ecu/MAF. :)

So how will the KL62 ECU be happy with MTX ?<p>The reason I ask is I can see a "TRANS RANGE SENSOR (A/T)" on the wiring diagram for the Millenia. And how would you connect the clutch and neutral switches ?
Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
Extra thick soundproofing in the boot (trunk) to quieten my stainless steel exhaust system :)

Ahh good point, he can't use it unless he has an atx because all Millenias are autos.....

tocixxx,<p>If that engine really is from a JDM Eunos 800, it looks like you need an ECU for a KLZE MTX, and the VAF from the K8. <p>On the other hand, if the engine is actually from an export model (Millenia/Xedos 9), it will not be a KLZE, and you want the ECU and VAF from a KL 626, KL Ford Probe, or MX-6 (ECU must be pre OBDII for your car, i.e. pre 96).<p>[ July 27, 2003: Message edited by: IanL ]</p>

Thanks a lot, <p>The engine is from a eunos 800, I checked the Head codes, it has also ATX attached; <p>As i thought. I´ll need a KL31 ECU and my K8 VAF which is labeld JE50 as far as i know !! <p>greetings tocixxx
