Is it when you're stopping in a straight path, or when you are breaking while turning

could be your calipers are seized and one of the pads is shaking around in there. that may cause a ticking noise while braking but im not sure

Sounds like suspension wind-up. Could be the stabiliser bushings - they make a ticking sound when they're worn, but usually it's on sharp turns under acceleration - if it does that, too, they'd be worth a look.
Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
Extra thick soundproofing in the boot (trunk) to quieten my stainless steel exhaust system :)

seems to be getting worse. when i took the car to a mechanic though he couldn't get it to make the noise. so i took him around the block and i couldn't get it to make the noise either. i think my car is messing with me. :( as soon as i dropped him off...CLICK...CLICK...CLICK. it's kinda like that dead frog that dances and sings only for porky pig. and it drives him insane. but anyway. it has been getting louder. sounds like something is gonna fall off my car when i brake. :(

Doesn't happen with the mechanic in the car. Could it be the passenger seat ?

I had some braking sounds some time ago and it resulted to be that one bushing from my fron´s wheel hub has seized, and I started to eat the hub. It was real noisy!!!

Why don't you let him drive it, if he can't hear the sound. Do this, have him put it up on a rack and take a look.
