funny noise from under my car??

i don't know where this noise is coming from. and i have no idea what it means. when i shift gears sometimes though and i accidentally let off the clutch a little early and the car jerks a bit, there's a funny thunking noise. if i go over a speedbump without going VERY VERY VERY carefully there's a really LOUD thunk. any ideas? is my suspension blown or something? there's just way too much squeaking and thumping going on for it to be normal. ALSO, my steering wheel...makes a HISSING noise when i turn it. it used to only make a groaning/hissing noise when i started it up. but now it's just all the time. checked the fluids and everything. no air in the system...should i just trade my darn car in for a new one...err...can't afford...to fix every freaking week.

oh and also. when my car is in gear...it makes a loud loud WHINING noise. when i shift it kinda sounds like i suped up my car or something. but it's starting to get worse i think. it's just a constant WHINE whenever im driving. as soon as the car is turned on its making the noise. anyone have any idea what that one might be?? :\

it could be you have a bad motor mount. to check this, have someone blip the gas, in neutral, while you are watching the motor. you could also have them put it in gear. if its a bad mount you will see alot of movement and hear the clunking. you might even have an accessory drive belt rubbing on something causing the other sounds your hearing.
