Re: kfze 2.0
You should do a little searching.
I have the motor, a rare few have done this swap. It will work on a manual. You'll use your stock tranny. There is no EGR and you WILL need a KF-ZE ECU. You cant use the straight neck Intake manifold, you will need to use your k8 one.

Re: kfze 2.0
I've noticed that the 2.0 are about half the price of the 2.5's. And I've also noticed some sellers saying it'll only work on automatic only. Why do they tell you that?
So if I did this swap, I'd need a new ECU as well?

yes, you'll need the ECU.
A tranny can be removed and a manual will bolt up. I havent done this swap yet, but I will be. I have this motor and ECU. Im just doing bodywork first, then pulling the motor, painting the bay, then putting in the motor.
Re: kfze 2.0
wered you get your kf-ze? i see them at corksport but they are hardly half the price.

Re: kfze 2.0
Unfortunately if you have an auto tranny, then swapping the ecu causes the tranny computer to go into 'safe' mode, i wouldn't recommend a KF to anyone with an auto - you won't be saving money at any price!
