is the computer chip they are selling at http://www.superchips.co.uk/car/frameset.htm will realy give my 1.8l v6 a 8 bhp gain. I know someone selling a used one for 100$CDN, before i buy i want to know if it's work.

My 2c. - I don't think the "gains" possible by reprogramming chips in normally aspirated cars are generally worth while - the programming is reducing safety/production spread margins which may or may not be prudent with your particular car.<p>Its different with turbo'd cars, where you raise the boost and reprogram the fuel delivery to match.
