Unfortunatly, I dont think anyone will be able to tell you without dismantling their engine as well.<p>It would have been a good idea to mark the position of the gears, belt and flywheel so you could put them back easily.<p>I'm not sure if there are timing marks on the gears or not, but if there were they would most probably allign with top dead centre.<p>Cheers

ok thanks the timing was messed up when i got the car but i don't see the marks on the engine just on the gears it is a white line

In the manual it shows you where the marks are located on the engine... Reading will solve all your problems here.. hehe
