gear stick sticking!!!!

Ok guys it is a little hard to explain but when neutral is selected the gear stick should always return to the centre but mine will stick on the left side but not the right side.I hope I explained right .Thanks in advance.

hmmmmm thats kinda wierd, have you recently had work done on it? new bushings? I know if they are tightened to much it will make the shifter stiff, also you could just need lube, just take it too a local shop you know is good and ask someone there, they dont usually charge to sit in your car and feel the shifter.
