taking the weather stripping off under the hood by the windshiled is that dengerous cuz couldnt water get in when im washing my car?

it just rained here and i have washed my car with no water problems
93 Mx-3 GS klze swapped(sold)
96 Integra LS DD
91 Crx Si drag car
2.0L sleeved gsr block, forged internals, skunk2 valvetrain, HP racing intake manifold, Holset H1 turbo, 1000cc injectors, short geared lsd transmission, 3" turboback exhaust. 20 psi :)

It's not dangerous at all. In fact, I recommend taking all stripping off your car and even get a screwdriver in under your windshield and wiggle it around a bit, then drive around in the rain. While you're at it, remove your sunroof if you have one and replace it with foil.

The back of the hood will shake more at highway speeds.<BR> Water is not the problem, hood shakes are :) <P>Andy P. 93 GS
