Engine Swap info re Distributor

I'm looking to swap out my 1.8 for a 2.5...currently I'm having probs finding a 2.5 with a distributor. I've just replaced my distributor on the 1.8 and I was wondering if I could use it on the 2.5. Concerns up front are if the bolt pattern, gearing etc are the same. Anyone know?<BR>Eventually I will be doing an MSD swap but I still need something in the interm. im just about 100% sure your k8 disty will work no problem on the 03. when people swap to the ze, they use there k8 disty<BR>Dan

i have a klze and im using my old disty from the k8. and i have no problems.

hey try and get the kl-ze dis if you are buying a kl-ze is easy and cleaner looking for msd install<BR>if you don't get one I can for $100cdn

The ze dist wont work with in the mx-3 but I think you can use the dist cap if you hook up an msd like you want to.
