CV Joints ... polling question
I recently replaced both CV joints and noted that each came from different manufacturers and different part suppliers. other than an increase in torque and the elimination of that damn, embarassing rattling noise ... I did not notice a difference.
My question is: Is a CV a CV? or are there CV's that perform better than others?
Re: CV Joints ... polling question
A cv is just a cv. There is no added horsepower or torque with different cv joints. One might have a better quality, relating to the fit and function of the mechanical parts but this won't translate into more torque or hp.
Andy P. 93 GS

Re: CV Joints ... polling question
curious: How does a new cv joint increase torque? Even restore lost torque....?

Re: CV Joints ... polling question
It could restore lost torque if you had none at all due to a really bad cv joint
