Burning oil

Post by LoXOnline »

I was wondering if there is any common mechanics that go wrong with this car. i ahve a 92 gs. I can't figure out what it is, I tried the stuff that is supposed to stop leaks that you add to the oiland it didn't work. And I really don't have the money to have the top of the engine rebuilt, so is there anything that will prevent this, just enough to last atleast a few days so I can pass the inspection, then after that if I have no other choice, I will have time to save some money to get the engine repair correctly. So again if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.<P>Thanx

well is the oil on the upper or lower half of the plug, if its the top half you can just mop up the oil with a rag and replace your valve cover seals, or if its the bottom half it is probably a head gasket
