changing manual transmission fluid

Has anyone changed their transmission fluid?? how often is it necessary,? is it hard? Any specific procedure?

strangely, My mechanic who was a service manager at mazda for 17 years told me I needed to put automatic transmision oil in my manual tranny! weird but true!
92 mx-3 GS .greeeeeeeen!<BR>Honda !!!, what do you mean Honda??<BR>Oh sorry, you meant that piece of crap parked next to my car! oh sorry again, I meant to say lawnmower....
