Check Engine Light
I have done the Kl-ze swap and I have the 2.5 northamerican ecu in along with the 2.5 vaf I have the mx-6 kl-ze version along with the mx-6 intake manifold I had it cut and welded my check engine light comes on sometimes when i drive but not all the time
is the check engine light soming on because of the egr it is not hooked up because there is no port in the engine and i'm think that sense the 2.5 ecu is looking for the egr solenoid valves which aren't hook up
because the engine is running great and i just want to be sure it is because of the egr the light is coming on
thanks
happy new year to everyone

You should be able to use the procedure for getting malfunction codes out on my site at http://home.golden.net/~trinity (Malf Codes page). Most likely you'll see codes 16 and perhaps codes 28 & 29 depending on when you check the codes.
