KLZE - KL03

Post by VizualXTC »

Well, I dunno if this belongs in the V6 forum or not, but who the hell cares right?
Well, from what I've read on this site, the KLZE motor is the J-Spec version of the KL03. Is this right? And, if it is, will the normal bolt-on's for the 03 bolt on the ZE? Thanks

Yup, but one usually ends up needing the KLZE ECU to get the full benefit form the KLZE engine.
Toronto's pretty lucky in that we have several fast/fastish KLZE based cars around. A couple of Probes run the KLZE and pull around 190 HP to the wheels, a Protege runs ZE engine parts and is in the 14s, etc.
It's a good option if you don't want to worry about power adders (trubo/nitrous/blower).

Wicked setup man. SDS stand alone computer, eh? What injectors? Stock bottom end? I notice he has no air filter on his turbo. I have two fibreglass mesh pieces under pantyhose :)
