Rough Idle when warm

Post by tyson »

If anyone has some advice it would be appreciated. Basically car seems to run fine except once it warms up it idles rough almost stalling on occasions. Recently I have replaced plugs, leads, distributer, rotor, air filter, pcv valve, had the oil changed and had the fuel injectors cleaned. All these things were noticeable in other areas of performance except where I really want it fixed. Something that I am wondering is I have a small oil leak in one valve cover. Do you think this might have a similar effect as when you remove oil cap.
Thanx for your time and help.
Tyson

its the BAC valve. I doubt a leak would do this. is the problem worse when you have a load(ie lights on etc?????)

I have a crack in my air hose running from my MAF to my throttle body. I would check that before putting any more money in things that don't need to be fixed. If not, I'm sorry

have someone clean your idle air speed control valve (BAC?) and reset your idle......it won't stop completely..but it won't happen as much.. and you won't stall when at a stop....around $70...

heather
