Which is faster?

which is faster a 1996 saturn sc2 or a gs mx3I'm almost sure the mx3 would win but my brother swears you cant get a faster car then his for 5k so i want to see thanks.

saturn: 2363lbs 124hp 122ft-lbsmx-3: 2443lbs 130hp 115ft-lbsthe saturn will take you off the line because of the higher torque and lighter weight. it should be a good run though. it also depends on if either one is auto and how good the drivers are.

my friend has that exact saturn with a 5sp and exhaust + intake, that little bastard is pretty quick, they have really low gears, but if ur a good driver and you speed shift, you should get him at high first gear more n likely

Yea, i know someone with one of those cars too...i believe they only come in 5-speed...they're pretty light...must be those dent resistant doors

from carpoint.com2318 lbs curbweight for the sc2 and yep 124 and 122 for hp and ft-lbsI guess it would be the dent resistant doors, i never really imagined it would weigh so little...

I know the LS2 dose its quarter in 15.8@88.3, has 182hp V6 engine and is supose to be the fastest saturn made. I think my money would be on the MX-3 GS, stock Vs stock.

ehh stock vs stock the ls2 would obviously whip a mx's but, since the gs runs like 16.3s stock

Well I was talking about the SC2 not the LS2 when i said stock Vs. stock. With a differance of 60+ HP between the two i'm sure the SC2 would also be at least a second slower, meaning the best bet would be on the MX-3GS.
