Re: Speed Limiter
It's set after redline....like in most cars...you know that annoying pinging noise Honda owners make? That's from having their car boucing off the rev limiter

------------------
~'94 GS

I highly doubt it will get to 200mph before the rev limiter kicks in...i got upto 122 and it was almost at redline
------------------
~'94 GS

I think you messed up the translation somewhere because whatever that says doesn't make sense in English
------------------
~'94 GS

Re: Speed Limiter
I live in Germany and have free reign of the road but I can only get to about 120mph and then nothing... no high rev, no kicking or sputtering, just no more speed! I don't get it I'm no where near redline I'm usually sitting around 3 or 4?? I'm confused as well, I always wondered if maybe there might be some sort o limiter on the engine?? Who's got the answer....
------------------
Justin E. Evans
Quartermaster92Y@hotmail.com
Re: Speed Limiter
I reached 130mph on a relatively cold night,at approx. 5000rpm.

My maximum was 135.
The stock tach was somewhere in the high 6k, I don't really remember anymore - I had two blonde, 6ft+, 19-year-old Norwegian au pairs in the car and both were distracting me.
I do remember it took a long time to get to 135 - like 2 miles or so.
------------------
Jeff Abrams
jeff@mazdamaniac.com
SUPERCHARGED 2.5 liter 1993 Mazda MX-3 GS
http://www.mazdamaniac.com
Normally aspirated 1997 Mazda MX-5 Miata
